Help us support the land purchase for a new center in Monterrey, Mexico.

Monterrey is the third largest city in Mexico, with over 5 million inhabitants. To help support this population, the Monterrey Trust has been offering non-center courses in Mexico for the past 14 years (since 2010). Courses are held at gypsy camp locations and support up to 80 students per course.

The Trust has been organizing two courses per year; and all courses are oversubscribed with long wait lists.

The Monterrey region is also seeing that there is a deep commitment from old students in the area — which is seen by the fact that all current courses are self-financing: where each course receives enough dana to fund the next course and general operations of the Trust. Additionally there is a dhamma house that hosts one-day courses and allows old students to build deeper sangha community and connection.

Given all of this, the time is ripe to now purchase land in the Monterrey area so that the Trust can begin building a new center to better support old students. However, the Monterrey Trust needs help in raising the dana to purchase a property (approximately $200 to $350K depending on size/location of the property).

Should you have the volition to support Monterrey in the purchase of a property, you can do so by giving dana to this dedicated fund. Any support (whether large or small) is greatly appreciated during this pivotal time for Monterrey, Mexico.
