Support Vipassana Ukraine: Continuing Meditation in Challenging Times
"If there is no peace in the mind of the individual, I can not understand how there can be real peace in the human world." S. N. Goenka — Millennium World Peace Summit
Vipassana meditation has been an empowering presence in Ukraine since its introduction. In November 2004, over 76 new students attended the first course held in the country, at a venue about 30 minutes from the city of Kyiv. Since then, we have steadily grown, offering an average of 9-10 courses in times of peace. These courses have provided thousands of individuals with the profound benefits of Vipassana meditation.
Despite the ongoing conflict, our commitment to providing these valuable courses remains unwavering. The war has indeed posed significant challenges, but the spirit of Vipassana endures. This year, we have planned four 10-day courses, two of which have already been successfully completed. These courses are a beacon of hope and tranquility amidst the turmoil, providing much-needed solace to those who can attend.
We invite you to join us in preserving this invaluable practice in Ukraine during these challenging times. Your generous donations will directly support the organization and facilitation of courses, helping to cover the costs of venues, accommodation, food, and other essential expenses.
Should you have the volition to support the Ukraine fund: you will receive a U.S. tax-deductible receipt upon donating*.
