Help to Establish Ireland’s First Vipassana Center
After more than 25 years of renting facilities, the Irish Vipassana Trust (IVT) now wants to purchase a suitable property and establish the first permanent Vipassana Centre in Ireland.
We are currently holding four ten day courses each year accommodating 100 students, as well as one Satipatthana course and one three-day course for old students. We are currently spending €50k a year on our site rental costs.
The property purchase is expected to cost in the region of €900K - €1.2M and the IVT currently has about €140K in savings (June 1st, 2024).
In order to purchase a property, Ireland is seeking one-time donations or low interest loans or regular monthly standing orders. Any support in helping the spread of Dhamma in Ireland for generations to come is greatly appreciated.
